Modificare bootare grub (Ubuntu si Windows XP side by side)

In cazul in care ati instalat Ubuntu side by side cu Windows XP, bootarea este gestionata de Ubuntu care devine sistemul de operare de bootare default. Pentru a modifica ordinea de bootare trebuie modificat fisierul grub.cfg din Ubuntu: /boot/grub/grub.cfg

Fisierul grub.cfg se poate modifica doar cu sudo:

sudo gedit grub.cfg

In fisierul grub.cfg trebuie modificata cifra care indica numarul de ordine al sistemului de operare, asa cum e vazut in Ubuntu. Initial acest numar este 0:

set default="0"

Mai jos, tot in grub.cfg veti numara (incepand de la 0) cate "menuentry" aveti, iar numarul corespunzator sistemului de operare Windows il treceti la "set default". Exemplu:

set default="4"

Integrare Tomcat in Eclipse

1. In prealabil trebuie descarcat kitul JDK de la http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads si instalat.
2. Se instaleaza Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers
3. Se descarca Sysdeo Eclipse Tomcat Launcher plugin de la http://www.eclipsetotale.com/tomcatPlugin.html, se dezarhiveaza si se copiaza in directorul plugins din Eclipse
4. Se descarca Tomcat de la http://tomcat.apache.org/ si se dezarhiveaza
5. In Window -> Preferences se selecteaza Tomcat si apoi versiunea corespunzatoare, iar apoi se introduce calea catre folderul in care se afla Tomcat.
Dupa acesti pasi se vor putea rula fisierele .jsp direct in Eclipse.

JSP cu Mysql

Ca sistem de gestiune a bazelor de date relational se poate folosi MySQL, care este tot gratuit, la fel ca si Tomcat si Eclipse.

1. Instalare MySQL (daca aveti de exemplu instalat Xampp-ul nu mai trebuie instalat MySQL separat)
2. Se descarca MySQL Connector/J (mysql-connector-java), care se poate instala prin copiere in java/jdk/jre/lib/ext/
3. In Windows, Control Panel > System > Advanced > Environment Variables se introduce un nou user variable numit path care va contine calea spre directorul Bin din JDK (C:\Program Files\Java\jdk...\bin;)
4. Se descarca Java EE SDK de la http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javaee/downloads/index.html si se instaleaza.

Va trebui creat un user al bazei de date cu toate drepturile si care sa aiba neaparat si parola.

Visual Editor pentru Eclipse

Visual Editor este un editor open source care permite editarea vizuala a claselor vizuale java.
Un lucru foarte important care trebuie avut in vedere este faptul ca, daca versiunea de Eclipse pe care o aveti instalata este Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers, nu veti putea instala VE din cauza unor dependente conflictuale.


Pentru instalare, in Eclipse > Help > Install New Software > Add - se copiaza in campul Location linkul http://download.eclipse.org/tools/ve/updates/1.4/






Deschiderea fisierului in modul vizual se face cu click dreapta pe fisierul sursa > Open with > Visual Editor

JAVA - descarcare, instalare si rulare din fereastra DOS

(pentru Windows XP)

I. DESCARCARE SI INSTALARE:
1. Descarcare JDK 6 Update 17 de la http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads
2. Instalare kit
3. In Windows, Control Panel > System > Advanced > Environment Variables se introduce calea spre directorul Bin din JDK (C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_16\bin) la variabilele path si classpath (daca nu exista, se creeaza):

path C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_16\bin;







classpath .;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_16\bin;







II. EDITARE PROGRAM:
Editarea se face cu un editor de text ASCII simplu (ex. Notepad), iar fisierul se salveaza cu extensia .java (ex. PrimulProgram.java)

II. COMPILARE PROGRAM:
Din directorul in care se afla fisierul sursa (PrimulProgram.java) se ruleaza fereastra DOS (Command Prompt) si se scrie comanda:
javac PrimulProgram.java
Va fi creat fisierul PrimulProgram.class.







II. RULARE PROGRAM:
Din directorul in care se afla fisierul sursa se ruleaza fereastra terminal (Command Prompt) si se scrie comanda:
java PrimulProgram
Programul va fi lansat in executie.
